The face layer is sanded in multiple stages and finished with a protective lacquer coating, providing a surface suitable for daily residential wear and light commercial traffic.

In straight-plank format, boards run in a single direction and are suited to open-plan layouts where a continuous, low-joint-density surface is preferred.
